Gorgeous Gold Curvy Keepsake Box

I finally cracked open my Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Die!  Love how super cute this is!

Curvy Keepsake Box 001

Brushed Gold cardstock + Gold Fancy Foil Vellum = Gorgeous!

I added some Whisper White behind the vellum to make the box a bit sturdier.

Do we need a matching card?  Yep…I think we do!

Gold Fancy Foil Vellum Notecard

No stamping at all on this one!

Curvy Keepsake Box and Card

Love them together!  I think this will make a great little “just because” gift :)

Simply Wonderful

I inked up a free Sale-A-Bration stamp set to make today’s card.  I am loving the simple elegance of this one!

Simply Wonderful 001 - Front

So pleased with this one!  Not sure that you can tell in the photos, but all the mats are done with Brushed Gold cardstock, so it’s lovely and shimmery in real life!

Simply Wonderful 001 - Inside

I’ve brought my score lines and pearls through to the inside too.

I’m looking forward to making this one with my class ladies…I know they are going to love it!

Groovy Love

Before the Stampin’ Up! Party Time event I had been playing with my new Berry Basket Die and the Groovy Love stamp set.

Berry Basket 001 - Front

So cute!

Berry Basket 001 - Side

Love how easy it was to pop together!

Groovy Love 001

I needed something to match in with my basket and this 3″ x 3″ card is the perfect companion!  There was a full size card to match as well, but I popped it into the Ronald McDonald House Charity basket at the Party Time event, so you will have to wait til I remake that one!

I’m looking forward to making some cute easter baskets with the Berry Basket die!

Stampin’ Up! Party Time Warragul

Early in February I headed to Warragul for our Stampin’ Up! Party Time event.  We needed to make our own name tag to wear on the day, so I sat at my desk at 11pm the night before (oops!) to make mine…

Party Time Warragul Name Tag

It’s looking a little battered and bruised after wearing it all day, but I still wanted to share :)

My name was die cut using the Expressions Thinlits.  The M and the E both come from the word Merry, and the L comes from the word Thankful.

It’s not super exciting, but not a bad effort for late the night before the event!

Here’s a couple of photos taken on the day of me and some gorgeous ladies :)

One of the best parts of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator (apart from all the crafty stuff!) is the friends you make :)

Wondrous Wreath

When I downloaded the photos of my Something For Baby cards from my camera I discovered a bunch of photos of Christmas cards that I had forgotten about!  Today’s share is one of those cards :)

I fell in love with Jan Tink’s gorgeous card.  I love it when I find a card I love so much it sends me straight into my craft room to make one of my own!

Wondrous Wreath 001 - FrontGorgeous, right?

Wondrous Wreath 001 - Inside

The score lines around the edges of the card are hard to see in the photos, but they add so much to the finished card!

My ladies loved adding this card to their card stash before Christmas.  Thanks for the inspiration Jan!

More Something For Baby

I thought yesterday’s screen divider card was so cute, we needed a box to match!  Our Tag-A-Bag Boxes are the perfect size for some rolled up bibs, socks or a jumpsuit.

Something For Baby 002

I used the same colours as my card so they match.  I love matching…the more matching, the better!

Something For Baby

I can’t believe how long it’s been since I last posted!  The lead up to Christmas was hectic, and while the extended break from my stampin’ desk over the long summer school holidays was very welcome, it’s always soooo good to get back into some stamping again!

Screen divider cards have been on my “wanna try that” list for ages now, so I watched Brianna’s video tutorial and got to work!

Something For Baby Screen Divider Card

Love how this turned out!  The images in the Something For Baby stamp set are so cute, and it was great to finally ink them up!  This was one of the projects we made in class last week, and my ladies loved it!  I will pop in again tomorrow to share the other projects we made in class.

Birthday Tree CASE

I made this card a week or two ago, and now that I have finally taken photos I think it’s time I shared it.  I have cased this card from Lyssa at Song Of My Heart Stampers.

Lovely As A Tree 003 - Front

I added in an extra layer (you know I couldn’t help myself!) and changed the sentiment.

Lovely As A Tree 003 - Inside

Super simple on the inside, with just a few trees and a little bit of sponging to match the front.

I’m in my craft room for most of the day today so hopefully I will be back soon with another project to share!

Flower Patch Birthday

Today’s card was inspired by Mikaela’s card over at The Crafty oINK pen.  I added the Flower Patch stamp set and matching framelits to my stash a few months ago, and they were begging me to use them to make my Mum’s birthday card :)

Flower Patch 001

So my card doesn’t look much like Mikaela’s card…I’m keeping her card in my CASE file for another day!

I love how the front of the card is smaller to show the sentiment on the inside.  I can see this quickly becoming a new fave way to make a card that’s just a little bit different!

Flower Patch 001 Detail

I’ve got about a billion flowers in many different colours sitting on my desk that didn’t make it onto this card….looking forward to having another play very soon to see what I can do with them!

Thanks for stopping by.
