Did you see this bird house over on Tanya Bell’s blog?  Isn’t it gorgeous?  I fell in love as soon as I saw it.  Tanya has a tutorial for this bird house too 🙂

I made this bird house for my Mother-in-law’s birthday today.

Birdhouse Front

I know….gorgeous!!

Birdhouse Side

Tanya thought of everything when designing this bird house!

I did change mine just a little…I didn’t have the heart framelits or the Birds Of A Feather Designer Papers (but the postie is on his way with them!!).  I also omitted the ribbon to keep the lid of the bird house closed, and used magnets instead.

Here’s the card I made to match the bird house:

I haven’t photographed the inside because I had already written in it, but I continued the designer papers and ribbon on the inside as well.

I also made 3 more birdhouses to give to Dylan’s teacher and aides.  I was really pleased with how they turned out too, but I was driving home from school after giving them out and realised I didn’t take any photos!  So here is a photo of one I took on my phone….it’s not the best photo, but I still want to show off!

I will be making these birdhouses with my regular group of ladies on Monday.  I know they are going to love them!

Thanks for stopping by,
