Create A Cupcake

Wow…where did that week go?!  I actually made the card I am sharing today with last week’s Mojo Monday sketch, but of course I am waaaaaaay too late to enter the challenge now!  Lucky I can still share with you guys 🙂

Create A Cupcake 001 Front

What do you think?  I’m really not sure on this one…..Do you think it needs a sentiment on it?

Create A Cupcake 001 Inside

I brought the scallops from the front through to the inside, and I really like it!

I have had the Create A Cupcake set in my stash for quite a while, but have barely used it, so was determined to ink it up for this card 🙂  In the end I only used the sentiment on the inside, because I got a bit carried away with the cupcake punch and designer papers, but I still used it so I’m happy.

Mel I love this card! I was wondering if you could tell me the dimensions of the card? I live in New Jersey. And pink is my favorite color! Thank you!

Hi Michelle! Thanks! I was happy with how this one turned out….after a few days spent looking at it! My card is standard size, A5 here in Australia, and I just made my layers half a centimeter smaller each time. Hope that helps….I have no idea at all what they would be in inches, and my card has long since been used for me to check for you!

        Hi Mel!

Thank you for the information! The card size for us in New Jersey is approximately the same size as your card in Australia! I cut a paper that was 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches at the 5 1/2 inch mark then scored that piece at the 4 1/4 inch mark! It was perfect! I was wondering if you still are a consultant for Stampin Up? I really love the Stampin Up products! I am a scrapbook instructor for a large retail craft store called Michaels! Hope you have a wonderful day!

        Thoughtfully, Michelle

Hi Michelle! So glad it worked for you 🙂 I am still with Stampin’ Up! I love their products so much, especially how everything matches! I’m sure you enjoy working at Michaels, too…there’s nothing better than being able to share what we love! Hugs xxx
