My swap for Inspire Create Share Convention 2014

Last Thursday, Friday and Saturday I attended the Stampin’ Up! Inspire Create Share Convention 2014.  It’s such an amazing experience, with plenty of new products to play with, the upcoming 2014-2015 catalogue to drool over, stamping, swapping, laughing, crying, stage walks, cheering, singing, dancing, prize patrols, all attendee give-aways, reunions with old friends and meeting new friends!  The event kicked off with Glinda singing “Popular” from the hit musical Wicked, which was fabulous, and it just got better from there!

While I haven’t yet managed to go through all of my photos from Convention, I have got photos of the card I made to swap while I was there.

Flower Shop 003 - Front

I have embossed one of the gorgeous flowers from the Flower Shop stamp set in Whisper White Embossing Powder onto Crumb Cake cardstock, and then coloured them all in with my Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker.  So time consuming, and I didn’t get anywhere near as many made as I would have liked, but I still got to swap with some super talented demonstrators, so I was happy.  Remind me next year to start earlier, or do something a little less time consuming!!

Flower Shop 003 - Inside

My swaps didn’t include the inside of the card, but I couldn’t post a card where the inside wasn’t as pretty as the outside!

I’m looking forward to making this card with my ladies this week 🙂

Happy Stampin’
