Stippled Blossoms Mother’s Day Card

Oops!  2 months since I last posted…where does the time go?  We are only days away from the end of the 2014-2015 Stampin’ Up! catalogue, so I’d better share some projects while they are still current!

I followed Kirsteen’s tutorial to make the card I’m sharing today.

Stippled Blossoms 002 - Front

I love how this turned out!  My class ladies loved making it too 🙂

Stippled Blossoms 002 - Flat

Stippled Blossoms 002 - Front Top

Stippled Blossoms 002 - Front Open

Stippled Blossoms 002 - Open

I’m so sad to be saying goodbye to Crisp Cantaloupe…Calypso Coral just wont be the same without it.  I won’t be parting with Stippled Blossoms any time soon either 🙂

We also made a box using the Gift Box Punch Board to go with our card.

Love how sturdy this box is!

The Something Borrowed embellishment finishes the bow perfectly!

Thanks for stopping by.

Such amazing projects! Thanks for sharing them!

  2. I love both your card and your giftbox!! Very pretty! I can’t figure out though how you created the box with the giftbox punch board. I don’t have the board ‘yet’ but the picture shows a one pce box with a hook together top and your box is two piece with a flat top. Am I missing so ething here? Thank you for sharing your lovely creations.

Thanks so much Fran. The base of my box was made with the Gift Box punch board…I don’t really like the closure so I stuck the flaps down to the inside of the box and then made a lid to match it. My box measures 4″ x 4″ x 4″ so I made my box 1/16″ bigger to fit snugly over the top 🙂 Hope that helps xx
