Endless Wishes

Are you ready for another Christmas card?  This card was inspired by Lisa’s card over at LA Stamper.

Endless Wishes 001 - Front

I opted for a white card base and a layer of Lost Lagoon to make this card my own 🙂

Endless Wishes 001 - Inside

Love this card!  This DSP is just gorgeous.

Wondrous Wreath

When I downloaded the photos of my Something For Baby cards from my camera I discovered a bunch of photos of Christmas cards that I had forgotten about!  Today’s share is one of those cards 🙂

I fell in love with Jan Tink’s gorgeous card.  I love it when I find a card I love so much it sends me straight into my craft room to make one of my own!

Wondrous Wreath 001 - FrontGorgeous, right?

Wondrous Wreath 001 - Inside

The score lines around the edges of the card are hard to see in the photos, but they add so much to the finished card!

My ladies loved adding this card to their card stash before Christmas.  Thanks for the inspiration Jan!

Get Your Santa On

As soon as I saw the Get Your Santa On stamp set in the Holiday catalogue I couldn’t wait to sit down with my Blendabilities and colour Santa in!  Here’s some cute little gift cards I made to pop in with some orders.

Get Your Santa On 001 Group

Just a little bit cute!

Get Your Santa On 001 Front

Super simple….but still cute!

Get Your Santa On 001 Inside

I don’t usually decorate the inside of my 3″x3″ cards so that there’s more room to write my message, but I just couldn’t resist that little hat!

I’m hoping for more time in my craft room today, so hopefully I will be back to share something else soon 🙂

Bright & Beautiful Bauble

I just couldn’t resist embossing a few more of the stars from the Bright & Beautiful stamp set to pop inside a Christmas bauble.

Bright & Beautiful Ornament 1

I took about a million photos trying to get some good ones…these still don’t show just how gorgeous it is, but there’s only so many photos a girl can take of one project before she needs to give up and head back to her craft room for therapy!

Bright & Beautiful Ornament 2

I suspended my stars from the top of the bauble with dental floss so they spin inside the bauble.

I’m off now to order some more baubles and see what else I can pop inside!  This bauble is 10cm and I purchased them from Pack It In.

Thanks for stopping by.

Bright & Beautiful 001 - Front

I added in some layers and removed the greeting banner, but just couldn’t go past using Terri’s colours and the layout of those gorgeous stars!

Bright & Beautiful 001 - Inside

The size of this sentiment is perfect for the inside!

Thanks to Terri for the inspiration, and thanks for stopping by 🙂

June SCS Creative Crew Holiday Focus

SU-Creative-CrewIn line with our Anything Goes theme this month, our Holiday Focus challenge is to celebrate your favourite holiday with a new technique.

I decided that I would use masking as my new technique.  I love layers, and it is very rare for me to make a card that is fairly flat.  I masked off the top and bottom of my card, and set to work making a Christmas card.

Snowflake Soiree 001 - Front

I love how this turned out!  I stamped my snowflakes from the Snowflake Soiree stamp set and embossed them with clear embossing powder, then sponged Bermuda Bay over the top.  I then scored lines to highlight my masked area with my Simply Scored.

Snowflake Soiree 001 - Inside

I went super simple for the inside, and just added my sentiment.

Are you ready to celebrate your favourite holiday with a new technique?  Upload your creations to Splitcoaststampers using the keyword CCREW0614HF.  Don’t forget to check out all the gorgeous creations in the June Creative Crew Gallery.

Color Me Christmas

Yep, I know…..Christmas already???  I am making one Christmas card each week with a lovely group of ladies, so thought I would pop in to share what we will be making this week.

Color Me Christmas 001 Front

I resisted this super cute stamp set for so long, and when I finally gave in and brought it I ran out of time to use it!  I was so glad to get it out and ink it up!

My card is inspired by this card by Heather Summers.  I love her card, but still needed to make this one my own 🙂

Color Me Christmas 001 Inside

I so enjoyed colouring in the stockings!  It’s been ages since I have done any colouring, but I just might be getting the bug again!

Have you started on your Christmas cards yet?
