Curvy Keepsake Easter Chick

I have a list a mile long of things to make with our Curvy Keepsake Die…here’s the first one I have ticked off that list! ¬†I watched Sam’s video tutorial to make this super cute Easter chick.

Curvy Keepsake Easter Chick

Just a little bit cute!

Curvy Keepsake Easter Chick Duo

We are making these at my Easter classes this week too! I think I will also be adding these to Dylan’s teacher’s Easter presents…they are just too cute not to show off!

Thanks for stopping by ūüôā

Digging Bunny

This digging bunny has been around for quite a while, but it’s only recently that he’s started digging in a Fry Box! ¬†I fell in love with one posted on Stampin’ Connection, and had to make my own!

Fry Box Bunny Soft Sky

Isn’t he gorgeous! ¬†We know he’s a boy…if he was a girl he’d be pink!

Fry Box Bunny Pink Pirouette

She’s a girl for sure! ¬†I think they may even be brother and sister…

Fry Box Bunny Duo

I loved making these bunny Fry Boxes, and can’t wait to make them with my class ladies later in the week.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Berry Basket or two…

I’ve been busy working on projects for my Easter classes later this week. ¬†I think I have made about a million Berry Baskets over the last week or so, and I’ve finally decided which ones we will be be making in class.

Berry Basket Pistachio Pudding

Super cute, right?  I love it!  The pastels in our 2013-2015 In Colour collection are perfect for this project!  My photos are a little dark, this basket is lined with Pistachio Pudding DSP.

Berry Basket Crisp Cantaloupe

It’s looking a bit orange in the photo, but this one is lined with Crisp Cantaloupe DSP.

Berry Basket Coastal Cabana

The Coastal Cabana one is my fave I think!

Berry Basket Strawberry Slush

Last, but not least, is Strawberry Slush!

You can fit quite a bit of chocolate in these baskets, which is pretty dangerous for me! ¬†I haven’t filled all of mine yet…just in case they don’t last until Friday!

3 of these baskets will be leaving on Friday morning to go to Dylan’s teacher and aides. ¬†They do such a fantastic job in the classroom each day, and I love being able to give them something cute to say thanks. ¬†Hope they love them!

I will be back tomorrow with another Easter project ūüôā

April SCS Creative Crew Holiday Focus

Create a card, an ensemble, a scrapbook page or a decor item for one of the following holidays:

Earth Day

Historic Garden Week

National Egg Salad Week

Go Fly A Kite Day (3rd Sunday in April)

This one was a no brainer for me! ¬†I needed Easter presents for Dylan’s teachers as well as the bus driver and chaperone who take him to and from school each day, so was more than happy to kill two birds with one stone!

Window Treat Box Front

How super cute is that box???  I am so in love with it!  I followed the Window Treat Box tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.  Super easy!

Window Treat Box Side

This one made in Coastal Cabana is my favourite, but I made them in all of the 2013-2015 In Colours, and they all looked great! ¬†I finished them off just as I was running out the door to go to school for the last day of term assembly, so I didn’t manage to get a photo of them all together. ¬†I’m thinking these will be great filled with different chocolates and a Mother’s Day sentiment on them, so you may see more of these ones yet!

Are you ready to show us your holiday inspired creation? ¬†Upload your project over at¬†Splitcoaststampers and use the keyword CCREW0414HF. ¬†Don’t forget to check out the April SU Creative Crew Gallery while you are there!

Did you see this bird house over on Tanya Bell’s blog? ¬†Isn’t it gorgeous? ¬†I fell in love as soon as I saw it. ¬†Tanya has a tutorial for this bird house too ūüôā

I made this bird house for my Mother-in-law’s birthday today.

Birdhouse Front

I know….gorgeous!!

Birdhouse Side

Tanya thought of everything when designing this bird house!

I did change mine just a little…I didn’t have the heart framelits or the Birds Of A Feather Designer Papers (but the postie is on his way with them!!). ¬†I also omitted the ribbon to keep the lid of the bird house closed, and used magnets instead.

Here’s the card I made to match the bird house:

Birdhouse Card

I haven’t photographed the inside because I had already written in it, but I continued the designer papers and ribbon on the inside as well.

I also made 3 more birdhouses to give to Dylan’s teacher and aides. ¬†I was really pleased with how they turned out too, but I was driving home from school after giving them out and realised I didn’t take any photos! ¬†So here is a photo of one I took on my phone….it’s not the best photo, but I still want to show off!

I will be making these birdhouses with my regular group of ladies on Monday.  I know they are going to love them!

Scallop Envelope Easter Baskets

Today I want to share with you the Easter basket and note  card I will be making with my regular ladies on Monday.

Cute, right? ¬†Here’s a close up of them:

I am really pleased with them…maybe even more so because I used Summer Starfruit and I love it! ¬†I never imagined that I would even use it, let alone love it! ¬†And I know my ladies will be impressed that I used yellow…..they always are!

But then I got to thinking….do we need them in more masculine colours? ¬†Maybe we do…so I whipped something up, and here they are:

…and the close ups…

I’m really pleased with them too ūüôā ¬†So ladies, you will have the choice to make the Summer Starfruit version, or the Island Indigo one.

I made these baskets last year for my nephews for Easter.  You can see them here on my old blog.
